FTT and interview in video
So, today I finally got everything together and made my Video Interview with a great big
help from Dorcas. She was the one how borrowed a Videocam for me and I really owe her that big favour. Everything went pretty well. Just that I had to rehearse over and over again because of my frequent stumble over my words. It was a little fustrating, but with a friend like Dorcas, it always turned out well in the end. Went over to her house for a steamboat dinner later in the evening. Nice dinner..But I still hate Sotongs and Cuttlefish ok. Hear me
Tomorrow, will be playing badminton with Sarah, Jin and her friend for the first time. Hope we really work it out and burn of some calories. ahaha...That's the whole purpose of this outing right?

Things in my Mind
Well, at the moment I'm at work. So it's a sin that I'm doing this now. But no matter lah. I've got nothing to do now anyway.
The 'A' level results, unlike for others, hasn't been a fruitful one for me. Nevertheless, my parents still feel that I should count it as a great achievement being able to even enter into a Uni. Looking back to my primary school days, I'd almost entered normal Acad. During the posting into a secondary school. From this perspective, I always would then feel a sense of deep gratitude towards God for pulling me through all these 'shit'.
Well, for my 'A' level results, I would then just have to trust him since he'll take care of everything with his wisdom and mighty hands. So...No worries for me and my love ones. Just that I have to keep in mind the deadline for the applications for the respective universities.
Have been considering applying for the School of Business, Arts, Design and Media, and the School of Humanities and social sciences in NTU. For NUS I'll probably apply for the School of Business to study Banking and Finance. I know these three schools are a far cry in the school of thought from one another. However, these are the only three I can find some interest in. Actually, I'm not sure if I'm cut out for doing business. I chose it more out of practicality then genuine actual interest. Interest wise, it's only the math and a little prestige I'm interested in.
For the Arts, Media and design, it's has some requirements that normally other schools do not need. To apply, I would have to video camera myself for a video-interview for about 3- 10 min. Also, I have to write a short essay of not more than 400 words on why I want a BFA* in NTU. And I would then have to produce 5 sets of photographs of different subjects(explanation is not needed). All these would have to be on the desk of NTU's office of admissions on 1st April. Aargh..I've yet to do any. Just did the outline for what I want to say in my interview only. Anyone who is able to lend me a video camera, thanks..I appreciate it. Cos I need it!
Work has been great and it still is. So nth much about that.
Going out with Wing later in the evening, Jinny, Sarah and Siew Yan on Friday and Dorcas most probably on Sat. That is if she(Dorcas) does not have anything cropping up at the last minute whereby we would then have to probably have to postpone it again for the longest time.
Make some time for me my sweet BEST FRIEND! I'm still part of you life ok?! ahah.
Anyway, if your are reading this then call me soon to confirm k?

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Hey all you peeps out there who took the GCE 'A' level
examination, the 'A' level results will be out this Friday 4th march at 2.30pm.
Don't stress!!
Well, Caleb reminded me that is his birthday. Sorry that I almost forgot! Aha...Anyway, I hope God will bless him with good results as a wonderful present. For the rest of my dear friends, whether you accept it or not, I'll be praying for you as well as for Myself. The anxiety is killing me. Gotta take leave on Friday and gotta tell my boss soon.
Talking about bosses, the people at my workplace are great! Though the work sort of sucks cos it so mundane, boring and dry. No brain juices needed I tell you...Hopefully I'll be able to put up some pictures of my new workplace soon. If you wanna know where, go to this link:

It's an MNC. A really huge company. It has 2 buildings in Kallang itself. Cool huh?I take on the position as a HR assistant in the HRD doing data entry and a little of administrative stuff. Cheap food all around plus free shuttle services. Great way to save money.

Ridza's Birthday N Zoo
Didn't bring the camera.. Sorry Wing...ahaha...Was too tired in the morning to remember. Hey...I often forget to bring my phone to work too ok...What's more a camera?!!
Went to the Zoo today with Verna, Violet and Angie. Had great fun but UNFORTUNATELY, I had a Stomachache attack. Most likely wind or gastric was horrible. Spoiled the rest of my day. But still I followed them to IMM where they brought me to this really really cheap and great shop called the Great Value $2 of something like that. Everything was $2. Cos it was so cheap and the things there were so nice, I ended up buying $20 dollars worth of goods..Aha...Meaning 10 items. Alot huh?
Anyway, here are some of the pictures we took.

This animal was one of the first few we saw at the Zoo. Took a picture of the information plate instead because of the name. It's name originated for the same name as my best friend! LOL

The Markeeq and Leopard if I remembered the names correctly. But most probably not. STM lah. The leopard was so cooperative. It posed so nicely as if it was getting ready for a photoshoot.

This white tiger, is one of my favourite animals. Not that I have other favourites i think. Well, It's my favourite animal 'cos besides being born in the year of a tiger, I really like how pure and beautiful it looks. Esp the fur. Don't worry you animal protectors out there. I do not, I repeat, DO NOT wear fur. I don't believe in the slaughtering of animals for material goods. Thus, after making my point, don't even think about prosecuting me. In my POV, it's just morally unacceptable. No offence now to those Hilton rich ladies.

Violet and I At the Polar Bear viewing gallery. Me at the wishing well. It was loaded with money(coins).

At the 'Asian village'.

This picture is nice...Look how I tamed the 'tiger'. How did I do it? Practised voodoo. j/k j/k...

At the children's farm..

On our way to IMM in the bus...

Out out OUT
Went out with Hew Wing, Ridza and Andrew Foo yesterday. Ate at Swensens...We were deciding for hours where to dine. And it was only when we started complaining seriously of hunger before we hastily decided on Swensens as out dining place. That Wing lah! SO choosy one the leh...
Went to Cineleisure to watch a late night movie thereafter. Hide and Seek. It wasn't as scary as I thought is was judging fomr the movie trailer. Perhaps watching one Jap horror movie was enough to say that English horror movies are not that scary after all. We were all stoning after the show. Must be the late hours...We are all good kids after all. Keeping to their bedtime periods and all...Yeah right. Before that the rest must have had used to much energy playing catching and hide n seek. Hiding the tickets and playing catching...Aha...
Today went to Campus Rumpus, a funfair organized by SAJC this year . Overall, it was quite fun except that I had to wait almost an hour before I could enter because of late-comers! LOL...I should have gotten used to it by now. Anyhow, It isn't just them anyway. Came with Sarah, Siew Yan and Jinny.
We experienced inflation within the school I tell you. The prices of everything inside was 2 to 3 times more expensive then the same thing you can buy outside. Well, since we were 'forced' to buy $20 worth of tickets before we left school in J2, why not just make the best of it. We WERE helping to raise funds for the new school building anyway.
Some photos we took.

This is us when we first came.

On the track.

Not bad posing for photos eh? They look great!

Valentine's Day
Went To Pasta Fresca for dinner. The food was quite good but i thought it could have be better.

Watched Constantine. HAhaha...Wing told me during one of the scene she almost jumped out if her seat causing her to spill some of the water she was trying to drink from her mineral water bottle. So funny..

Hung out at Starbucks after the movie.

That's it.
The next day I decided to do some research on how this day came about. Apparently, there were many versions of it's origin. However, all mentioned that it had something to do with this Roman named Sir Valentine.
And i came across how one country celebrated it in the past as a tradition.
In Wales wooden love spoons were carved and given as gifts on February
14th. Hearts, keys and keyholes were favourite decorations on the
spoons. The decoration meant, "You unlock my heart!"
So sweet..aww....

Happy Chinese New Year!
Chinese New year started with a 'BANG', literally. I was awoken by the clash of Symbols just outside my house. As you probably might have guessed, it was the Lion Dance Troupe. Every year they never fail to disturb my sleep...
But they do actually create the atmosphere of the CNY everytime they do that 'cos when I awake, hearing those familiar sounds makes me remember that 'today's CNY'!
Visited My grandma's( mom's mum) house on CNY. Coincidentally, my uncle also came at the same time. Actually, this coincidence happens every year. But this time, my aunt didn't make it because she was down with the flu. So sad... It's been a long time since I last saw her. She was always smiling and nice all the time. Hope she'll get better. Basically, that's all the places I visited for CNY. Kind of pathetic..But my parents really can't be bothered.

Jazz is tough!
Have been really into this movie called ' The nightmare before Christmas' and Johnny Depp in 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Though I watched the former several years back, I suddenly thought of it the other day when I passed by this shop selling their merchandise. I really wanted to buy them...But for some financial reasons, I decided not to. I am not an impulsive buyer you know.
So have been going online to look for icons and images of the movie and the characters ( e.g. Jack, Sally, etc.) Some people may find it horrid but I find it very interesting and amusing to look at them.
Here's one of JAck:

If you are interested in this movie too, here are some links you can check out:

"Each holiday (Halloween, Christmas, Thanks giving etc.) has its own world,
where the people create the holiday. Jack Skellington (shown above) is the man
who organizes Halloween. Though, he does the same thing year after year. One day
Jack stumbles across a door way to Christmastown, and is exposed to wonders
such as music, snow and niceness like he has never seen. So, he not only tries
to bring Christmas to Halloweentown, but he (in a nice, disastrous way) decides
to take over Christmas. At the core, it is a musical with lots of songs. The
music is what grabbed me most when I first saw the film. There are fun songs
like 'This is Halloween' but there are also songs that just capture the spirit
of the movie so well. "

Today is today
- The Michael Jackson Collection
- The Phantom of the Opera
- The definitive Jazz collection
- A midsummer Night's Dream ( video)
On the way back I dropped by 37 degrees in City Link and bought a shirt. Oddly, I suddenly developed a mood for shopping almost instantly. Fortunately, I'm not an impulsive buyer or else I would have came home broke. I went to Raffles City and pawed the shops there but only ended up buying one item. A capped sleeve shirt from Levi. It was rather expensive but I really liked it. So..Oh well...
Went home and watched the video. The show featuring the story William Shakespeare himself wrote was understandingly filled with love and etc. Following that I tried practicing the pieces from the score books I borrowed. I tell you...The Phantom of the Opera pieces though were easy in the rhythms but the key signatures were total killers.
Just received a phone call from Zhi ming. He told me his Dad was using the computer when I msged him online. SO funny lah! He was his usual chicken fritters and Gracy self when he called...haha... He always makes me laugh.
Discussing Christian topics with bobby(Bharat) at the moment. He sometimes open my eyes to many things when I discuss things with him. Like songs to touch the soul, yearly church gatherings and all. Just like Dorcas... Both of them seem to teach me so much all the time. Perhaps even without them knowing...
