Beauty

.
There is beauty everywhere
See the faces of beautiful people on magazine covers.
They are only part of the beauty that you see in this world
.
Beauty is not visual alone
It can be heard
Hear the music dance into your ears
Think of how music can described as beautiful?
.
Beauty invigorates the sense of touch
Feel the textures of the leaves and trees
Each has a unique 'thumbprint' in itself
.
Last of all...
Beauty is holistic
It is found in the face of God and we are made in His image
It is comforting to know that
We possess everything that's beautiful within ourselves

Problem-solving

Problems...hai..
They are always there. Will always be there. And never leaves you.
.
do you ever reach a point in life
you look back realising this crossroad you faced
will be just another period in life that took you
so hard to overcome just like the ones before?
This struggle you took pains to overcome was actually not as problematic as the seemed
Things when seen from a third-party POV,
just becomes so easy to solve.
'SNAP'!
The answers come out just like that.
When our time comes for the very similar trial,
Ours is just a BIGGER mountain, that needs a BIGGER solution,
that takes MORE effort than everyone else's.
I guess it's human nature to have double-standards.
I guess perhaps through this hypocrisy,
we are able to lean on each other for support.
Put it in a nicer way, having double-standards and associating it as bad is just overrated.
Perhaps we do that to give each other hope and optimism.
I've learnt something not only from the movie (Click) I watched today,
but also from what Mj taught me before again and again.
But i guess the main thing is not about problem-solving.
It's about accepting one another's flaws and putting aside grudges.
It's about chucking away egos and allowing other to forget their undesirable pasts.
To give them space to grow and mature through their unsightly flaws.
To reach an accomodating state and allow everyone to start afresh.
The main thing is not about problem-solving.
And everyone struggles with that.
heh...ESPECIALLY me.

I will be here

I Will Be Here(Steven Curtis Chapman)
.
Tomorrow morning if you wake up
and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here
.
I will be here
When you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here
.
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here
.
I will be here
And you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
.
And I will be here
To watch you grow in beauty
And tell you all the things you are to me
I will be here
I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the One who gave you to me
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I will be here
Oh, I will be here.

Your presence is much needed

i realise that i have been editing and adding happy stuff in my life into the blog that i totally ignore those horrible and irritating struggles i come across. As real as any human being, I have my difficulties, problems with self-esteem, confidence, religion, BGR and what have you...
.
.
.
Like I've said before. Nothing you desire most comes easy
.
.
.
i feel stagnant...
Worse...
I feel I've been ignoring Jesus these few days.
Nonchalantly having a sluggish time of my life.
.
.
.
I need a revivial. I need disciplince. I need patience. I need care. I need Love. I need You God.

:"Trust Walk":

ok..i managed to snatch this from Wanxuan's blog. just one ok.

Thwang, Bump, Hit, Goooal?!

The worldcup fever just ended with a whistle and tweed.
Red card for Zidane with an unsuspecting head butt out of nowhere at all!
hahaha...not that I cared. I was watching my very first match of the end of soccer fanatic charade going on for months! And the last i heard were one of the more exciting ones. But no *hoot* about that la. I just managed to learn some new stuff my sister thought me about soccer...things like offside, sidekick, penalty and corner...well, at least now I am know a little more educated. Not that I have to be since MJ doesn't even watch soccer.
.
.
Ok so lets see...since France and London, there was Portico which i am at the moment trying to get pictures esp. of "trust walk" where i got assaulted a couple of times. And dearies such as Mizah, Luke, Shijie, Jonathan and Chinwei were quite comforting. So even after the attacks I'm at least not so traumatized. heh..
The camp was in a way fun la. But quite tiring. I didn't really do much as an OGL but I really wonder how superhuman Pek can handle being with them almost 24/7. He doesn't even sleep much! His patience and peserverence is admirable.
.
.
Me, being a gamemaster and doing the games with Chinwei, Ivan, Nicholas already wears me out. The title OGL shouldn't be for me la...
.
.
Really thank God that He allowed me to join and help out at this camp and allowed me to meet more people. Even the ones that were just mere acquaintances before. But fright night was something that I hesitated about alot because I only realize after signing up to participate that It would really be a sin to create unnecessary fear in other people's hearts.
In a way, i thought that i did really deserve certain attacks inflicted on me during the 'trust walk' event. I just wanna sa sorry to those who were still affected by that night. Forgive me ya? :)

The last of overseas trip this summer

Day 3

the Notre Dame in Reims

We then spent an entrie day with Jacq's bf, Nicolas family. Which was extremely interesting and fun! We picked cherries from trees, strawberries, peonies, daisies, lavenders, and many many other flowers. It was such an experience with French people, to see the way they lived and loved life. Many of the people in Reims loves the nature hearing from Nicolas's grandparents.

Day 4

As the sun rose to the next day, it's the Versailles Palace ( It's famous for the gardens)

It's uncannily accurate and symmetrical

Look what my mum spotted outside of the palace! A colourful range of bicycles.

We drove about 2 and a half hrs back and another 2 and a half back there so we didn't go anywhere after that.

Day 5

at the departure hall to London. We took a budget airline. very cheap only! but too bad it's going to move a few hundred miles away to anyther place.

Day 6

The ceremonial guards change at 11 am daily. Those in the red uniforms will go through a tedious ceremony to leave the parade before being taken over by those in Blue uniform as seen the from picture below.

Day 7 & 8

We managed to visit Shakespears' brithplace, the wife's home, His new place and some other houses. Also we got to see Oxford Christchurch college where they filmed one of the scenes in Harry Potter. The Eiffel tower, we also saw. We paid like 11 Euros get to get to the top of the tower where it was freezing. My sis and I shook like we were dancing. I didn't get to upload the pictures cos there's something wrong with it AGAIN!

Day 9

In central London, at Mayfair, and all those interesting places

We walked, and walked, and walked....

You had no idea how relieved i was when i saw the meter that was 'parked' beside our car. My legs were giving way under me.

Day 10!

First class service! Back home...:D

Prancing in France

Just came back from France on the 14th of June.

It was fun la...but I'm suffering terribly from jet-lag now. Sleepless nights and sleepy afternoons.
I really must turn my body clock around.

Actually i'm feeling kind of lazy typing everything out and anybody will probably fall asleep just listening to me...So maybe i'll just let the pictures do the talking. I'll fill in when it's necessary...

so...after touching down and collecting the rented car in France,Paris, we set off for some sight-seeing in Paris first before residing at Jacq's humble home in Reims.

but first some sight-seeing...

Passed this Napolean war memorial

and went to the Louvre. LOOK at how long the 'Q' went!( it's only part of it ok?!) It was the first sunday of the month so tickets for every museum costed $0! ( take note ya?)

The famous Orsay museum was next. It was previously an old railway station. Just look at the number of butresses holding the walls up!

One shot with the 'Godesses'!

Next day we came back to Paris from Reims again paying tolls that you would probably swear at. We visited the iconic Eiffel Tower. Paid 11 Euros to go all the way up. It was freezing up there!

OOKKK...i've been trying so hard to blog the rest of the pics but it's been unsuccessful the past few days. I have no idea what's the problem mannnn..

when i finally managed to do it. I'LL DO IT.

till then!
