Ate at 'Out of the Pan' in Raffles City, B1, two days back. Heard from Ridza's friends that the food there wasn't commendable. Well, putting these insinuations aside, we decided to go for it. The dish I ordered was Pretty good. Haha...Wing ordered a dish and overlooked the part where the put 'spices'. And she had a spicy one which I think didn't really leave her a good impression of the restaurant. Well, it did for me. I ordered one that had bacon, cheese and some other stuff in it. It was Good... The place sold different varieties of crepes. And it's amazing how many different combinations of those they had. They even had one with chocolate fudge on it. Cool..

NUS aptitude test

Was shortlisted for the NUS architecture/Industrial design course. I'm afraid and I lack confidence. But oddly, the sharing in the family worship/gathering last Saturday and the sermon given in church the following day were both specifically telling me to 'WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT'. I was really inspired that despite my fear and hesitation, I'm going through with all the possible failures. Though I haven't told anyone, there is a driving force within me, perhaps God is giving me strength? I really think so.
The aptitude test is coming and probably the interview if I'm considered the borderline cases. But so far, names and dates of the interview will only be out on 1 May.

New Phone: K700i

My Dad bought a new phone, K700i for me a few days back. I'll admit that the key pad is kind of ugly, however the features are really good for a phone that price.

Faculty Test post-mortem

The Faculty test wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.
Within 1 n 1/2 hours, we had to complete 6 qns.
I can't really remember the exact sequence of the qns but it's something like that.

Qn1. Given 4 geometric shapes( i.e. a triangle, a rectangle, a circle and a square), protrsy the following:

• Similarity
• Radiation
• And something else i can't remember

It's was so Abstract!

Ans: Nonsense. I didn't even complete it. Sad but true.

Qn2. With your dominant hand( the writing/drawing hand), draw a portrait of the other hand. Do not trace. You can position of hand in any way and draw it. This qn was my best one.

Qn3. In the space given below, draw a fantastic landscape, portrait or a collection of your favourite things.

Qn4. You are a given a stroyboard with six panels. Within this six panels and the given child and animal as characters, show the interaction between the former and the latter. You are also required to write out the progression of the story in the lines below each panel given.

I got a bull and a little girl. My story sucks. No qns asked.

Qn5. A range of colours are given. From them, I was supposed to choose to colours. And with these two colours, I am required to re-design the public bus-stop. And after choosing the wo colours, I had to explain why I chose them.

Ans:I chose lime-green and white. Reason: Complements clean and green city of singapore, Fresh and cooling feeling( a perfect way to relieve the heat from the terrible weather in Singapore), a matching combination, and easy to spot. Mainly practical.

Qn6.Choose your favourite movie, an action figure, a TV serial, etc. and explain why you choose it/like it.

Ans:I choose the Nightmare before Christmas and if you didn't know why, MAYBE it's because I love that Movie. ( if you thought i asnwered the qns like that u must be thinking I'm mad but if it's to your disappointment, I did not. Do I look Dumb to u??)

Basically, That's it. If you think that was easy, congrats to you ' cos you may be the first one i hear saying that. Not that many people I talked to actually did the test. (oops)

Faculty test

I'm having the Faculty test for the Arts, Media and Design course tomorrow. And because of that, I specially took a detour and went to Popular on the way home from work to buy the necessary stationary( i.e. Colour pencils, drawing pencils, etc.)
I mean not that I don't have such items at home, but they are so used and worned out it's dreadful and embarrassing showing them in public...

Decided to sign up for SMU only the day before the closure of their application date(12th April). Even though the they processed my online application, I hope they process my documents which, by the way, were late.

I feel damned

Have been sick the past two days. I feel terrible. And because I didn't take leave from work, I'm blogging out of boredom. Seriously, I've learnt to appreciated work so much more. It's really boring when there's nothing to do. And the weirdest thing is that I'm like doing so much more than what I heard my friends are doing for the same job.
I've just received my first month's pay and I'm paid peanuts. I can't even afford anything with an amount like that.

Quan Bao and Caleb left for the army the day before. Two less friends to crap with and these two are the ultimate crappers. Oh man...I'm going to miss them. Next would be Ridza than Dorcas's brother, Joshua. I've heard so many horrible stuff that happened to privates in the army. Man... I really pray for God's protection to be over them.

And tomorrow's badminton game!! I dunno if I can make it with a flu like that.

Oh no.. I'm feeling like a complain Queen already. Can't life improve a little bit better. I hate being so pessimistic.

Final Theory Results

Yes!

Results for my Final theory Test came out yesterday and i passed for the first attempt! Wasn't as elated as i thought i would be...but this would be good enough. Finally i would be able to take my practical test after months of waiting. My practical test is on 3rd June at 11.45 a.m. My friends, if you are able to remember that fateful day, I hope that you will be able to pray for me k? It's damn costly for just a single session itself alr. The test cost a BOmb! Fortunately for me my dad us paying for the fees.

Handed in NTU's requirements

Took leave today for the purpose of going to NTU (Nayang Techonological University) to hand in my stuff for the requirements. It's was a mistake going there without a application no. man. I had to go to the trouble making calls waiting and later finaaly getting a single page to be printed out at the Office of Admissions. The sickening printer wasn't working and the administrative stuff there claimed it was jammed. Right... if they knew, why didn't they fix it? There were a thousand and one students waiting in line man. OK...Not exactly. But printers had to be one of their staple machines in an administrative office?!
